About me
Prior to becoming a therapist, my background was in law and education. As a therapist, I have experience working with adults facing a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, outlined below. My clinical experience includes working in two services that support people experiencing suicidal thoughts, where I developed a strong understanding of complex emotional distress and crisis.
Alongside my private practice, I work as a therapist for a mental health charity.
Areas I help with
I am experienced at working with a wide range of emotional difficulties, including anxiety, self-doubt, low mood/depression, grief, trauma, relationship or work difficulties, questions around identity or meaning, or a general sense of feeling stuck.
Many of us carry feelings or experiences that don’t simply fade with time and talking with someone outside your day-to-day life - someone who listens carefully and without judgment - can help you make sense of thoughts and emotions that feel confusing or overwhelming.
