Life can be challenging for many reasons but finding the right support can help. I provide a safe, confidential space to talk about your feelings which can bring relief and help to make them feel more manageable
About Me
I am an experienced psychotherapist and have a Masters degree in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy from Birkbeck, University of London. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), which means I abide by their code of ethics and professional standards.
How will we work
I specialise in a psychodynamic approach which focuses on how early relationships and past experiences shape how we feel and relate to others in the present.
It is also based on the idea that some of the patterns that shape our lives operate outside of our conscious awareness. You might notice repeating difficulties - perhaps in relationships, self-esteem, or how you respond to stress - without fully understanding why they keep happening. My approach helps you recognise these patterns and understand yourself better which, over time, can help bring greater choice and lasting change to your life.
I offer a space that is consistent, non-judgmental and attentive, where difficult or confusing feelings can be explored safely.
